After working for 10 years in the aquarium industry Taunton Aquarium Centre was founded in April 1998.
Its aim was to supply the best quality aquarium fish, corals and advise to the fishkeeping hobby.
Every member of the TAC team has been keeping fish for a least 10 years prior to starting.
That way you can be be confident that the advise your given is correct and true.
The shop now only caters for Marines, which is where our reputation has been built around our Marine section. We do stock Tropical and Coldwater Equipment also.
The shop is constantly going through massive restructures in terms of systems, however the current corals and invert section totals some 10,000 litres and at anyone time there are 430 LPS corals, 110 SPS corals and 605 softies. The restructures enable us to stay ahead of the game and supply the most amazing creatures for you the customer.
In addition we on average hold 450 fish in a system comprising some 4500 litres.
We don't just stock the bread and butter stock but also pride ourselves
on stocking rare and unusual stock, both Fish and Corals.
We design bespoke aquariums and related systems, with a full on site construction service.
